The rate is only half the maths. Budget left and competition decide whether you get paid.
A $2 campaign with $40 of budget left and 300 clippers pays worse than a $1 campaign with $9,000 left and six clippers. Our finder reads the whole public Content Rewards directory every hour and scores each campaign on exactly that.
FAQ
- How is clipping pay calculated?
- Most clipping campaigns pay a rate per 1,000 views: earnings = views ÷ 1,000 × rate. Campaigns then apply a minimum payout (clips under it earn nothing) and a maximum payout per clip (views past it are not paid). Payment also stops when the campaign budget is spent.
- What is a typical Content Rewards rate per 1,000 views?
- Across the public directory most campaigns sit around $1 per 1,000 views, with a spread from about $0.20 to $5. Our campaign finder lists the live rate for every campaign every hour.
- Why did my clip earn $0?
- Usually one of three reasons: it stayed under the campaign's minimum payout, the budget ran out before your views were counted, or the clip was rejected in review. Check the minimum and the remaining budget before you post.
- Does the calculator include platform fees?
- Only if you enter one. Fees differ by platform and by whether you work through an agency, so the fee field defaults to 0% and you set what applies to you.
