The problem it exists to solve
Villa and homestay owners hand 15–20% of every booking to travel platforms — on a stay that costs a lakh, that's a five-figure commission for being listed. The platforms bring reach, but owners lose margin, the guest relationship, and control over how their property is presented.
Shastra to Stay is our answer: a direct-booking platform where guests book villas straight from the owner — listings, availability, bookings and payments in one place, with no commission taken on the booking.

What we built
A full booking marketplace: villa listings with photos and amenities, live availability, a guest booking flow with online payments, and the owner-side tools to manage properties and reservations. The same category of product that platform companies build with funded teams — designed and built in-house.

How it was built
Shastra to Stay was built the way we build everything: an AI-native workflow on a modern web stack, one accountable builder, and scope decided by what the product actually needs rather than what pads an invoice. That's the working proof behind a claim we make often — that AI-native building collapses the cost and time of serious software.
