How Whop pays clippers: payout methods, fees and minimums
Clippers on Content Rewards earn into a balance and withdraw it through Whop, to a bank account, mobile wallet or crypto wallet in over 200 countries. Content Rewards takes a flat 10% creator fee on CPM and pool payouts, CPM earnings settle about 10 days after a clip's earning round opens, and Whop sets the withdrawal fees and timing. All facts below were checked against Whop and Content Rewards pages on 25 Oct 2026.
Campaign numbers on this page are live: read from 390 public Content Rewards campaigns, last updated 25 Oct 2026, 6:08 am IST.
The short version: earn on Content Rewards, withdraw on Whop
Content Rewards tracks your clips and credits what they earn, and the money leaves through Whop. The Content Rewards creator terms say withdrawals happen through Whop, and that withdrawal fees and timing are set by Whop, not by Content Rewards.
That split matters when something goes wrong. A rejected clip or a paused payout is a Content Rewards question. A failed bank transfer or a missing payout method is a Whop question. Right now there are 390 live campaigns with $1.07M of unpaid budget, per the finder's hourly data (updated 25 Oct 2026, 6:08 am IST), and every one of them pays out the same way.
What happens between approval and your balance
On a CPM campaign, an approved clip keeps earning for 7 days, then the earnings are held for 3 days before they settle. The Content Rewards terms describe this as a 7-day earning period plus a 3-day hold, so a round generally settles about 10 days after it opens.
Other models work differently. Per-post payouts are credited when the clip is approved and do not keep earning from views. Pool payouts split a pot by counted views, and the terms say any pool amount shown before the pool ends is an estimate, not guaranteed earnings.
Several things can stop money from settling on time. An open fraud flag pauses settlement until it is resolved, payment may be held while eligibility checks finish, and unsettled payouts can be reversed if a clip is rejected or a flag is upheld.
- CPM: 7 days of earning after approval, then a 3-day hold.
- Per post: credited at approval, no extra pay for views.
- Pool: split by counted views when the pool ends; earlier figures are estimates.
- Holds: fraud flags and eligibility checks can pause settlement.
Fees: the creator fee and the withdrawal fee are separate
You can pay two different fees: the Content Rewards creator fee on what you earn, and a Whop fee on how you withdraw it. The creator terms set a flat 10% creator fee on every CPM and pool payout. Per-post and retainer campaigns charge the same 10% when the campaign budget is under $5,000 and nothing when it is $5,000 or more.
Withdrawal fees depend on the method. Whop's published fee page lists these per successful payout. Several are US-only, and the page says international local bank transfers vary by country, so the withdraw screen in your own account is the final word.
There is a mismatch worth knowing about. The Content Rewards creators page says there is no minimum and no withdrawal charge, while the creator terms say Whop sets withdrawal fees and Whop's own pages list per-method fees. Check the fee shown on the confirmation step before you press Payout.
| Whop payout method | Fee per payout | Timing (per Whop) |
|---|---|---|
| Next day ACH (US bank accounts) | $2.50 | Next business day |
| Instant Bank Deposit (RTP) | 4% + $2.50 | Instant, where supported |
| Crypto (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum) | 5% + $1.00 | Not stated |
| Venmo (US recipients only) | 5% + $2.50 | Instant |
| Bank wire | $23.00 | Typically 1 to 2 business days in the US |
| International local banks | Varies by country | Varies by country |
Payout methods and how long they take
Whop supports payouts to a bank account, mobile wallet or crypto wallet in over 200 countries, and only the methods allowed in your country show up when you withdraw. Whop's payout methods page says standard payouts take up to 5 business days, while instant methods take a few minutes and can even pay out funds that have not fully settled.
Instant is not always offered. Whop may flag a withdrawal for compliance review, and when that happens the Trust and Safety team reviews it by hand and the instant option does not appear.
Whop's payout pages also mention PayPal and Coinbase, but those pages describe them as seller options: PayPal payouts apply when customers paid with PayPal, and Coinbase payouts when customers paid with crypto. For clipping earnings, treat the list in your withdraw window as the real menu.
- Requested: the withdrawal is waiting for approval.
- Processing or In Transit: being processed, 1 to 5 business days.
- Completed: Whop has sent the funds and your bank is processing them.
- Canceled: the payout failed and the amount goes back to your available balance.
Minimums: campaign minimum payout is not the withdrawal minimum
There are two different minimums, and mixing them up is a common source of confusion. A campaign's minimum payout is the least a single clip must earn before it enters the brand's review queue. Whop's Content Rewards guide gives the example of a $3 rate with a $6 minimum payout: only videos with at least 2,000 views reach review.
The withdrawal minimum is about your balance. Whop's set-up payouts page says you can withdraw at any time as long as you meet the minimum withdrawal threshold of $10, "if applicable". The Content Rewards creators page says there is no minimum, so the amount your own withdraw screen accepts is what counts.
Campaigns also set a maximum payout per clip. In Whop's example, a $3,000 cap at a $3 rate means a clip stops earning at 1 million views even if it keeps growing. The post on clipping CPM covers how these caps change the math.
KYC, currency and why payouts fail
Before your first withdrawal, Whop asks you to set up Whop Payments: pick your country so payouts arrive in your local currency, then complete KYC by filling in your details, linking a bank and uploading ID. Whop does not support payouts to sanctioned or restricted countries, and the Content Rewards terms say payouts can be withheld if sanctions screening fails.
Currency is the most common trap for clippers outside the US. Whop's payout methods page says creators outside the United States need a bank account that accepts the currency of their registered country, and that Whop converts payments to that local currency before sending them. A US dollar account in a country with a different local currency will not receive the payout.
Whop's troubleshooting page names two main reasons a payout fails: the bank account is not in the local currency of your registered country, or the bank details were entered wrong. A failed payout returns to your available balance, and you can fix the details and withdraw again. Whop says to allow up to 10 business days for Whop and your bank to process a payout.
Automatic withdrawals
You can let Whop withdraw on a schedule instead of doing it by hand. Whop's set-up payouts page describes an Automatic withdrawals option under the three-dot menu on the Balances page, where you choose how often to get paid and a minimum balance to keep in the account.
If you withdraw often in small amounts, check how flat per-payout fees add up. A fixed fee takes a bigger share of a small withdrawal than of a large one, so fewer, larger withdrawals usually keep more of your money when the fee is flat.
This page shows a short list. The finder ranks all 390 live campaigns and emails you within the hour when one launches, raises its rate, tops up its budget or is about to run dry.
